Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon Dixie Cup premium mail away picture

Back in the 1930's and 40's you'd get a Dixie Cup Lid featuring a star on your Dixie Ice Cream Cup, you then redeemed a certain amount of these Lids to Dixie to receive one of these Premium Photos. The earlier ones were in black and white while later ones were issued in color. This particular one is of Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon. I love the garnish colors.

Terence X. O'Leary's Warbirds

This pulp from the 1930's switched from airplanes and aerial dogfights to rayguns and rocketships when sales proved sluggish. Short lived but a classic for me with it's amazing covers and designs.

1950's Space Cape

This is a plastic cape from the 1950's, likely inspired by Tom Corbett and Rocky Jones.
